Turning Study Abroad Into a Reality for Underrepresented Students
Study Elsewhere aims to develop global programs that are inclusive and cater to historically underrepresented communities. It is our mission to make education abroad accessible and to provide support, scholarships, and more for our students throughout their meaningful travel experience.

Our Program
Our university partnership with Veritas University in San Jose, Costa Rica gives students the opportunity to take academic courses for college credit. This ensures no graduation delays and allows financial aid to be used to offset costs.
The semester or summer program includes an intensive Spanish course along with 2-3 electives needed to fulfill graduation requirements.
Study Elsewhere supports students from start to finish. Our academic support team provides one-on-one assistance throughout the duration of the program and beyond.
Each activity we curate combines cultural integration, personal growth, language learning, and developing knowledge on global issues.
Here are a few ways our organization supports students before, during, and after the Study Elsewhere program is complete.
Study Elsewhere's Impact:
At Study Elsewhere, we believe that international education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial means. We are committed to creating opportunities for underrepresented students to experience the transformative power of studying abroad.
Through our collaboration with Tuskegee University and Morgan State University, we have promoted our programs to students of color and helped them navigate the study abroad process. We have also led workshops and seminars on the importance of studying abroad at events such as the Black College Expo, WBNA Spark HBCU Night, and the HBCU Global Impact Conference.

Our efforts have already had a significant impact on the lives of many students, providing them with a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons, learn new skills, and gain valuable cultural experiences. However, we know that there is still much work to be done.
That's why we need your support. By donating to Study Elsewhere, you can help us continue our efforts to promote international education and create more opportunities for students from all backgrounds to study abroad. Together, we can help build a more diverse, globally-minded generation of leaders
