Turning Study Abroad Into a Reality for Underrepresented Students
Study Elsewhere aims to develop global programs that are inclusive and cater to historically underrepresented communities. It is our mission to make education abroad accessible and to provide support, scholarships, and more for our students throughout their meaningful travel experiences
Our Programs
At Study Elsewhere, we want to make studying abroad accessible and stress-free for students like you. That's why we've partnered with Veritas University in San Jose, Costa Rica, giving you the opportunity to take academic courses for college credit without worrying about delays in your graduation.
Our semester and summer programs include an intensive Spanish course and 2-3 electives that fulfill your graduation requirements, so you don't have to worry about falling behind on your academic goals. We also understand that financing your study abroad experience can be challenging, which is why we allow financial aid to be used to offset costs.
Our academic support team is here to help you every step of the way. Whether you need assistance with course selection or adjusting to life in a new country, we're always available to provide one-on-one support throughout your program and beyond.
We believe that studying abroad can be a transformative experience that expands your horizons and helps you grow both academically and personally. Let us help you conquer your fears and embark on a life-changing adventure.
Study Elsewhere's Impact
At Study Elsewhere, we believe that international education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial means. We are committed to creating opportunities for underrepresented students to experience the transformative power of studying abroad.
Through our collaboration with Tuskegee University and Morgan State University, we have promoted our programs to students of color and helped them navigate the study abroad process. We have also led workshops and seminars on the importance of studying abroad at events such as the Black College Expo, WBNA Sparks HBCU Night, and the HBCU Global Impact Conference.
